Q:
I'm really looking forward to the UK launch of the iPhone, particularly since I love browsing the Web on the go. Where can I buy an iPhone and how much is it going to cost in the UK?

A:
The UK iPhone is released on Friday 9 November at 6.02pm (O2? See what they did there?). You can get one at an Apple, Carphone Warehouse or O2 high street store, or if you'd rather not leave the house, you can also order it online:

Each customer is limited to two iPhones and according to the O2 Web site, only credit or debit cards will be accepted, not cash. As for how much it will cost you, the iPhone costs £269 up front and you have to sign up to an 18-month contract for £35, £45 or £55 per month, depending on how many inclusive minutes and texts you want.
Many people have also asked me about buying iPhones in the UK from eBay and unlocking them to use with other SIM cards. If you're feeling brave you can go for this option, but be warned, not all the iPhone's features will work if you unlock it and you may void your warranty, or worse still render the iPhone useless.
