Q:
I'm looking for a gadget that runs as a back-up to my camera and provides more functionality than my phone.
Features I would like to include:
1. Plenty of memory. My principle need is to transfer photos from my camera's SD card (1GB) for storage, while on holiday
2. Large screen, preferably VGA, for viewing photos
3. Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook compatibility
4. Wi-Fi
5. Internet browser
6. Durable
I have looked at the following:
1. HP iPAQ hx4700: almost perfect but no memory
2. HP iPAQ rx3715: not VGA and no memory
3. palmOne LifeDrive: seems to do it all (although not VGA), not sure about sync with Microsoft apps and has had some iffy reviews
4. Orange M2000: I have the SPV C500, so this seems a logical choice, but no memory and the screen quality is average
This will also be my first uber-gadget so some easy-to-understand advice would be nice.
