JVC Everio GZ-MC500

JVC's pocket-sized, 3CCD, hard-disk DV camera is little short of miraculous. It seems like only yesterday that 3CCD camcorders were the size of tanks, but JVC has stuffed one into a chassis no larger than a mini-bar can of Coke. It may not challenge the performance you'll get from something like the Canon XL2, but for a handheld consumer camcorder, it definitely has an indie-filmmaker vibe.
