Sony Bravia KDL-40V2000

Sony's 40-inch V-series LCD goes its own way, avoiding the high-gloss finish that's become de rigeur in 2006. Within the sober grey frame, the new Bravia processing engine and improved screen technology produce a fantastically sharp and crisp picture with natural colours and a genuine sense of black. It's a brave effort, but is it enough?
