An Editors' Choice product must demonstrate excellent design, features and performance, as well as having that special something that makes us look at technology in a new way. In all categories, we judge a product on the quality and utility of its feature set, the innovations it offers and its general desirability. This year we're focusing on 14 different types of products in seven different categories, but you can expect us to increase the number of awards we offer in future years. We've looked at some fantastic products and as always it's been tough to pick the winners from some strong nominations, but here they are. We hope they help you to pick the product that's right for you, and we congratulate all of this year's winners. - Michael Parsons, Editor, CNET.co.uk

An elegant design and superb picture performance for a plasma TV, as well as a built-in Freeview tuner.
