iRiver H320
Why did you buy it?
I'm a tech-head. I'm serious about my MP3 players. I don't like to mess around with pretty looking showgirls like the Apple iPod. The iPod is for joggers and the unemployed; the iRiver H320 is for lawyers, stockbrokers and accountants. Serious people with a job to do.
What does it do for you?
It plays my music, it shows photos and it can store movies. I use it as an external hard disk as well as a portable music player. I like the way the case looks like it's made of carbon fibre -- it looks tough, like a Formula One racing car. Vrooooom!
Would you recommend it to others? Why?
I would only recommend it to people who enjoy total control over their music and have the technical skill to handle something like this. It's not for the casual listener. If you're easily scared, go for the iPod, it'll nanny you through the process of listening to music. I like to work for it.
