WHY I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY
Dell 2300MP Projector
Why did you buy it?
To watch movies at an embarrassingly large scale on my living-room wall.
What does it do for you?
It makes me scream with delight when The Sound of Music comes on and the hills -- which are alive with the sound of music -- actually look like real hills, not like 10cm-tall mounds with little tiny weeny people on them.
Would you recommend it to others? Why?
Yes, if they can deal with the scale of movies at this size. Sometimes during an action movie it can become slightly overwhelming and you start believing you're actually an actor in the film. I had to be restrained once because I thought I was Sarah Connor and the Terminator was coming specifically to kill me, in my living room. A nice cup of tea and a few minutes with the projector switched off sorted me out, though.
