WHY I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY
Cooking Thermo-Timer
Why did you buy it?
I slow-cook a lot of meat. You do it at a temperature where the cells don't break down, just the collagen, the tough stuff. It's incredibly succulent. So I need a specially designed cooking thermometer.
What does it do for you?
It's critical -- it tells you when the oven has reached the precise temperature. Cooking beef, for instance, if you want it very rare you cook it at 53 degrees. Rare is 57 degrees.
Would you recommend it to others? Why?
I give it to people whenever I go to stay. I take a spare one with me. My mum bought me this one -- she's a cook.
